up.gif (853 octets) Introduction

This page contains quite a lot of information related to the ECU itself, including its connector, pin assignement, signals.

In Motronic M1.5 ECU, the heart of the system is a Siemens 80515 microprocessor with a 8k embedded ROM. Additional firmware and the various "maps" are located on an adjacent 27C256 EPROM .

up.gif (853 octets) Connector

The ECU is connected to the sensors and actuators through a 55 positions connector.
